"My wife and I did not know where to turn. With my wife and I both working, rules meant nothing to our daughter. We would ground her for breaking the rules only to come home from work to discover she was gone again. It was a cycle of her breaking the rules and us grounding her and nothing ever changing.
I cried my self to sleep at night wondering if she was going to come home, if she was ok, or if a policeman was going to show up at my door to deliver the bad news."

"I just kept asking the question, when did I become the bad guy? My daughter and I had such a great relationship as she was growing up. Then it seemed to be that over night that I was the enemy out to ruin her life.
The decision of placing my daughter in a program was a difficult one. It seemed as though she would hate me for it forever. But one night, as I was up waiting for her to come home I realized I was loosing her anyway. I was not ready to give up. I love my daughter and saw West Ridge Academy as my last chance of getting her back.."
